Spanish Translations

This is an informal project where inmates translate articles and publications from Spanish to English or English to Spanish. These are articles they have found meaningful or informative for whatever reason. The translators make no pretenses about having any great insights. They are doing their best efforts to share that which has helped them with others in their same situation.

There are many formal translations of Dharma material into Spanish. However, the reality is that many of these translations are not readily available for use by people in prison. This informal translation project represents an effort to alleviate the situation. It also provides Dharma and meditation instructors and students common reference material.

Direct links are made between sites when the English version is one web site and the Spanish version is on another site. This is especially true of the material from the Kwan Um School of Zen and the Zen Center in La Palma, Spain.

Anyone is welcome to contribute Dharma or meditation material in both English and Spanish. However, please submit material in its electronic form as there are no great resources available for typing.

When an item appears in English without a corresponding Spanish version, it means that the item is being translated.
